My Core Capability
My core capability is in the roles of:
1. Information architect - where I interact with customers, product & project managers to gather information on a product or application and build it from scratch as a wireframe model focusing on content & application flow.
2.Brand Manager - where I work with the product marketing team to create “Go to Market" strategies that involves creating websites, landingpages, storefronts, online ads, emailers to build brand visibility and thentake the product live.
In charge of identifying print vendors & perform quality checks & vendor management.
Co-ordinated and quality checked a CBT prepared by a third party vendor for our organization. Involved in the complete process of content gathering, storyboarding, template design, QC and finally making it available to our remote audience.
Created the technical product documents from scratch (both online and pdfs) that are currently in use by the company.
Created user friendly context sensitive help for our applications.
Key Achievements : PrePress / Print Industry (1991-2001)
Closely worked with authors on a wide variety of subjects and involved in the complete process of editing, proofing and other pre-press formalities.
Personally designed (layout & formatting text, cover page design) more than 100 books from textbooks and conference papers to medical journals. Some of the books I worked on was for National Accreditation and Accounts Council (NAAC), New Age Publications (formerly Wiley Eastern), Karnataka Journal of Medical Science, Karnataka Rajya Vignana Parishat, Allied Publishers, Wiley Eastern and so on.
Designed and printed marketing collaterals ranging from brochures and posters to large format outdoor advertisements on different media.
